Booth Setup
- Exhibitors are supposed to register and move in from September 4th to 7th . Booth setup should be performed within the stipulated period of the time from 8:30 till 17:00 every day, and must be completed by 12:00 on September 7th . During this period, if exhibitors have to work overtime, they must apply to the service counter at the exhibition hall and submit the overtime fee first. If the Organizing Committee asks the exhibitors to do overtime work, the overtime fee shall be borne by the Organizing Committee.
- Exhibitors who need special booth decoration are required to submit to the Exhibition Affairs Team of the Organizing Committee, by August 15th , their booth decoration plan for approval, including the effect drawing, the construction drawing, materials used, fire fighting measures , and so on. Booth setup shall not be performed until the plan is approved and the Special Decoration Permit granted.
- Exhibitors engaged in high altitude operation 5m above the ground must go through relevant procedures at the Security Department of the Exhibition Center. Only personnel holding a valid certificate for high altitude operation and equipped with special equipment are allowed to perform such operation.
- The Organizing Committee of GTIF will be responsible for planning and decorating of all public places, including advertising boards outside the exhibition venue, and advertising scrolls scattered at the entrance of all exhibition halls, on the exterior walls and along the public corridors of the exhibition halls. The publicity activities and booth setup conducted by the exhibitors are confined only to their booths, not any other places beyond.
- The main frame of specially-decorated booths must be prepared outside the exhibition venue before being installed at the exhibition halls. No brushing and painting is allowed at the venue. Exhibition boards as well as negotiation tables and chairs must be free from nailing, cutting, pasting and mounting. It is forbidden to hang heavy exhibits or advertising boards and equipment on the exhibition boards.
- It is forbidden to randomly modify, dismantle or damage the edifice and equipment at the exhibition venue. It is prohibited to damage the comprehensive wiring and computers at the exhibition halls. Computer ports at the booths shall not be used unless approved by the exhibition venue, and shall not be dismantled or moved without authorization.
- For any electric appliances, illumination equipment, power units or total volume of power consumption used at the booths or public exhibition space, exhibitors must apply to the Engineering Management Department of the exhibition venue and shall not proceed until approved. The ultimate power connection of any electric appliances must be performed by professionals of the exhibition venue. Electric heating devices are strictly prohibited.
- In the booth setup and publicity materials of domestic exhibitors, anything related to national boundaries or administrative maps of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government (including books, illustrations in newspapers and periodicals, diagrams) must be strictly in line with relevant laws and regulations such as The Administrative Ordinance for Map Edition and Publication.
- Given the fact that GTIF is an international event, the Organizing Committee suggests that exhibitors prepare their exhibits and publicity materials in both English and Chinese, and appoint professionals versed in English, investment and trade as booth staff.
Booth Dismantling
- Booth dismantling and packaging starts at 17:00 on September 11th . Personnel involved in booth dismantling must be bearers of the Booth Setup/Dismantling Pass or the Exhibition Pass. Exhibitors are not allowed to dismantle their booths ahead of schedule unless approved by the Exhibition Affairs Team of the Event Affairs Department of the Organizing Committee of GTIF for extremely special reasons.
- Exhibitors are required to exit from the east or west gates of the exhibition halls. Large-sized or heavy articles should exit from the east gate.
- Vehicles for transporting exhibits are not permitted to access the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center until 17:00 on September 11 th , and are subject to the command by traffic administrative staff. Drivers are not allowed to leave their vehicles. Unauthorized parking resulting in traffic congestion will be severely punished.
- In the course of booth dismantling, delegations and exhibitors are kindly reminded to operate safely and keep their personal belongings properly in case of loss.
- Exhibitors must clean up any hanging articles or posters by themselves.
- In principle, all the samples on display must be moved out of the exhibition venue. If they need to be stored temporarily at the venue or to be consigned for shipment, please contact the service counter in advance to rent a warehouse or go through shipment consignment formalities.
